Attestation from India

Documents originating from India need to be attested by the relevant Indian authorities before they are presented at the SG IVS Global for attestation.

a) Documents like Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Death Certificate, Medical Certificate etc issued in India should be attested by both Notary Public of the District and the Home Department of the State / Union Territory concerned.

b) Education / Transfer Certificate issued by universities and other Institutions of higher studies is required to be attested by:

  • Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development, New Delhi
  • Consular section, Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, New Delhi.
  • UAE Consulate in Mumbai or UAE Embassy in New Delhi.

c) Education / Transfer certificate up to class XII (12) is required to be countersigned by the District Education Officer before they are presented at the SG IVS Global Center for attestation.

d) Trade documents should be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, India, before it is presented at the SG IVS Global for attestation

e) Power of Attorney, if notarized in India, needs to be countersigned by the Home Department of the state / union territory concerned before it is presented at the SG IVS Global for attestation.
