Certificates originating from India issued by universities and other Institutions of higher studies have to be attested by:

  • UAE Consulate in Mumbai or UAE Embassy in New Delhi.

School certificate up to class XII (higher secondary level) issued by the educational institutions in India, in original and a photocopy, have to be attested by :

  • District education authorities of the concerned state / union territory (District Education Officer).
  • Education / Transfer Certificates from UAE need to be attested by UAE Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Education / Transfer Certificate issued from any other country needs to be attested by the Indian High Commission / Embassy / Consulate in that country

Sponsorship declaration is required by the Indian Immigration at some of the Indian Airports to support the travel and stay in UAE. The following is required to make a sponsorship declaration:

  • Personal presence of the person making the sponsorship declaration.
  • Valid passport in original with photocopy (consular signature page /first / last and valid visa page clear copy) of the applicant.
  • Passport copy of the person who is being sponsored along with the visa copy.
  • Proof to show relationship of the person being sponsored with the person making the declaration. (*a lady is not allowed to be sponsored unless she is a wife / dependant daughter / sister of the person sponsoring her).
  • Salary certificate of the person sponsoring (English translation of all certificates in Arabic, is mandatory).
  • In case the sponsorship declaration is executed for sponsoring the spouse of the executant, copy of the marriage certificate have to be attached.
  • All affidavit/declaration/documents made on behalf of wife/children/wife’s relatives spouse name needs to be endorsed in each other’s passport.
  • Sponsorship Declaration to be executed by a Foreign National

A UAE National executing the Sponsorship Declaration, have to produce an undertaking issued by the local court stating that the sponsor will take care of the sponsored person during his / her stay in the UAE. This undertaking has to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U.A.E. The sponsor also has to produce his / her income proof original and the passport copy attested by UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U.A.E.

A Foreign National (other than a UAE national) has to get his / her photo and signature attested by the Embassy / Consulate concerned in the UAE and the same to be countersigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U.A.E. The sponsor also has to produce his/her income proof original and passport copy attested by UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U.A.E.

UAE Nationals

If the applicant is a UAE National, he / she has to produce the document attested by the local court and countersigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U.A.E. To provide financial support for higher education the following documents are required;

Power of Attorney can either be on a plain paper or stamp paper as per your requirement or as advised by your lawyer.

Personal presence of the executant/s (who is giving Power Of Attorney) at the IVS Global Attestation Center with the following documents:

  • Valid passport in original with photocopy (consular signature page /first / last and valid visa page clear copy) of the executant/s.
  • Original Power of Attorney and its photocopy. This document has to be signed in the presence of the Consular Officer.
  • Two latest (not more than 6 months old) passport size photographs (White Background) of the executant/s. Photos can be clicked in our office.
  • 2 photo IDs card copy of Attorney (to whom you giving Power of Attorney)
  • Passport copy preferred and aadhar card, pan card or voter id card and 2 ids must.
  • If witness signature is needed for attestation their personal presence is mandatory with original passport and valid visa of UAE and 1 set copy of it (Each witness signature is chargeable at 52.73 for every copy)..

To apply for a visit / residence visa for any of your family member, Dubai Immigration needs the following documents duly attested by the Consulate General of India, Dubai :

  • Personal presence of the person who is sponsoring his parents/child/spouse.
  • Valid passport in original and copy of the sponsor (consular signature page /first / last and valid visa page clear copy).

Requirements for verification of certificates:

  • Original certificate + 2 copies
  • Original Marksheets (All years) + 2 copies.
  • Original Passport + 2 copies/certificate ( If you have more than 1 certificate, every additional certificate requires 2 additional copies of the passport)
  • If required Demand Draft or online Payment receipt.
  • DD can be made at any Exchange. Copy of the DD
  • Courier forms to be filled and a photocopy of the same needs to be taken

Note: For each certificate u need to make 2 sets of document. Each set should include 1 photocopy of certificate, Passport and marksheet. One set should contain original courier form and DD and the other will contain copies of the DD and courier form.

Important Note::

  • Please start tracking your certificate via Courier within 10 days of submission to check if it is delivered to the University.
  • Please follow up with the University to ensure that the University replies to the Consulate with the verification letter.
  • The verification letter does not come to IVS, hence please do not follow up with IVS Global.
  • The scanned copy of the University Letter alongwith the letter from the Embassy is directly sent to the Ministry of Higher Education and an email and SMS will be sent to you. For further action please contact the Ministry.

Note: The applicant would need to upload all the relevant documents along with the receipt issued by the Consulate in the portal www.parivahan.gov.in and pay the required IDP fees online on the same portal. On receipt of applicant through the portal, the licensing authority (MoRTH), upon verification of the document shall courier the IDP, directly to the residential address of the applicant. It may be noted that the role of the Embassy in this Consular Service is limited to the extent of facilitating submission of IDP renewal application form only. Any further correspondence pertaining to the subject, including status of the application, would need to be verified directly from the concerned authority (MoRTH) in India.
